Research

Research within the Institute of Life and Environmental Sciences is carried out in two units, the biology units and the Geography and tourism unit.

Research groups within the institute conduct research that usually falls under one or more research fields.

Research staff within the Institute is also involved in cooperation, both with foreign and domestic parties, and the results of their research are presented through lectures, conferences and publications in books and peer-reviewed journals.
